About us
A small roofing firm that does the job properly
Oakwell Roofing is run by Lewis from Morley, Leeds. Fifteen years on roofs, a small team, and a straightforward way of working.
Who we are
Oakwell Roofing Ltd is a roofing contractor based in Morley, on the south side of Leeds. It is run by Lewis, who has been roofing for 15 years, and a small team who have worked together long enough to know how each other lays a slate.
We do every kind of roofing: natural slate and stone slate on period houses, slate-effect and concrete tile on semis, GRP and single-ply flat roofs, dormers for loft conversions, chimneys, leadwork, fascias and gutters, and complete roofs on new builds for builders and developers. What we don't do is subcontract the awkward bits. The leadwork, the chimneys and the flat roofs are ours.
How we work
You call or send a photo. We come and look, properly, and tell you what the roof actually needs, which is sometimes less than you were expecting. You get a fixed price in writing with the materials named. We organise the scaffold and the skip, keep the site tidy, and when we finish you get our guarantee in writing.
We don't do pressure, we don't do "today only" prices, and we don't put logos on our van that we haven't earned. If you want to check us out, our company details are at the bottom of every page and our reviews are on Google where we can't touch them.
